GUZO

GUZO is a brand originating from the Colombian Caribbean coast, specializing in creating resort-style garments and accessories for men and women that celebrate the territory, culture, and craftsmanship. Our mission is to explore ancestral, artisanal, and artistic knowledge from our country, Colombia, and integrate them into creative fashion projects. We weave narratives intertwined with artisanal details, transparencies, arabesques, mesh, and color. Organic irregularities and elements left to chance are embraced, showcasing imperfect and decorative qualities that bring charm to the garments.

The name GUZO itself is a tribute to my parents, a recognition of their heritage, and an intention to transcend the values, creativity, and talents passed down to me from them and my ancestors. It is a way to honor them through a brand with a clear mission, representing my ancestry through the synthesis of my inherited surnames: Guzmán Oyola.

With three years of market experience and three fashion collections showcased, GUZO has developed a distinctive value proposition called "TRASCENDENCIA" (Transcendence), which is a fusion of trends and tradition. In our work, we engage arts, knowledge, crafts, culture, and innovation, converging them into fashion products manufactured with sustainable environmental practices. The commercialization of our products supports local, regional, and national inclusive socio-economic recovery and growth.
